Much news!

Kikuchi-san mentions Fatal Frame in Tokobot interview!

Poor Kikuchi-san, it seems even though he does make other games, he can't help but getting Fatal Frame and Gallop Racer questions.
His recent interview with GameInformer about Tokobot (his new PSP game) is no acception. (But hey, we're not complaining, the more fatal frame news! The better!).
Here's highlights of the interview that mention FF:

Game Informer: This game is very different than the games you normally work on. How did you come up with the design?

Keisuke Kikuchi: This game is for all ages. The game itself is taking advantage of the features of the system. The game system itself was created for Fatal Frame and Trapt.

GI: It’s funny, I was thinking about it and you work on horror-type games like Fatal Frame, and this is a very cute platformer. Where did you come up with the idea for Tokobot?

Kikuchi: The main concept of this game comes from Shibata-san, the director of Fatal Frame III who also works on Gallop Racer. With Gallop Racer, you could recognize very cute characters. The PSP is a very different market so when it came out, we came up with this concept. The PSP can handle the many characters that are on screen at the same time. I though it would be very interesting to control so many characters at once.

GI: Who created the music for Tokobot?Kikuchi: Okuda-san. He also did the sound design for Fatal Frame.GI: What about making a Fatal Frame game using the Revolution controller?

Kikuchi: My team members said the same thing. (laughs)

The last interesting bit of the article was that when Kikuchi-san was asked if he was working on Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 projects right now, he said, "I'm not working on a specific project right now".Whether or not this contradicts IGN's Fatal Frame PS3 or Gamespy's Fatal Frame PS3 announcement is uncertain. (Remember Kikuchi-san likes to be sneaky with his answers at times. :) )Read the full GameInformer Tokobot interview here!

FF3 high scores at last!
According to Akatsuki666 over at gamefaqs.com the most recent issue of OPM (Official Playstation Magazine) gave Fatal Frame 3 a 4.5 out of 5! This, without a doubt, is the best score the game has received yet!

GameInformer Preview
As we mentioned before, the previous issue of GameInformer (superman was on the cover) had a preview article of fatal frame, Roselite was very kind and sent in a scan! So, read up on the ff goodness! If you notice, the magazine said the release date was November 1st, this is because the magazine went to print before the 'official' release date of November 8th was announced.

More Movie news!
This comes from Ablazingly Courtney Webb which got it from eFGForum.com.
At the moment Courtney has no projects in the pipeline she's wants a break to just "be a teenager!" and she currently trying to lose two stone before Christmas. Rumour has it that Courtney has to lose the weight to play Miku in the up-coming Dreamworks Production of Fatal Frame due out late next year. Currently weighing in at ten stone, Courtney is slightly voluptuous and the weight lost can only help achieve her future dreams.Again, this is still considered to be a rumor.

Many thanks to Beyond the Camera's Lens for all the news!

Rei's camera

As we know there is TWO cameras in the game. The Camera Obscura and Rei's working camera.
Now we already know a few things about The Camera Obscura, but I wanted to share a bit information about Rei's working camera.

Her camera is really looking like a Minolta XG2.
Minolta XG2 is a really old camera, that you almost don't use anymore, but the camera itself it very good. (The picture you see of the camera is taking by me and it's my own. Proud, huh?;D)

The cameras bliz can be added at the top at the camera, or in left side(look at the rei picture). I haven't got the bliz yet, but when I do, I will be sure to post a piture.

The camera cost about 300 pund, a very normal prize for a camera like that.

Tecmo news, and other updates!

Sorry, I haven't posted here yet, but I had other things to do.
Anyway, Tecmo's Japanese site for Fatal Frame 3 have updated! You can now download and receive voices from the game on your cellphone! Sadly, it's only for Japanese cellphones.

The site also tells about japanese fans has requested the FF3 wallpapers! OMG, why can't we do that?>.< The Pacifiers' Song
SPOILERS!
In FF3 there is four small girls, which is the pacifiers. Those girls is singing a song (which is very like the FF1, with the demon kids).
We already had the Romanji version, but Kei-san was so nice to write the English version down!

Verse 1
Sleep child, go to sleep
sleep child, go to sleep
If you cry, the boat you'll ride
the boat to the other side
once you get there
the bib you shall wear
and you will be punished
should you lie still

Verse 2
Sleep child, go to sleep
Sleep child, go to sleep
If you should wake
from your slumber at night
great wooden stakes
shall pin you down tight
lest the doors open wide
and the others that sleep wake too

Verse 3
Go to the other side
Go to the other side
Cast the boat, take a ride
cross the rift to the other side
further and further to the other side
it must sail bearing your tattoos
and our offering of tears

Kei-san also scanned the US cover!

Manual cover:

Many thanks, Kei-san!^_^

New pictures! SPOIERISH!

Since I got new pictures I wanted to share a the most of them! This is SPOIERISH!!!

Thanks to Sae-Yae for showing me the site and for FF-fans for the pictures!

Spoilerish!!! Very!!!!

Easter Eggs

SPOILERISH! The following pictures are from in game!

Please, do NOT copy these pictures or text, without asking me or yume no horousha from BCL's forum. If I found out that you do, you will get a really nasty email from me.

In The House of Sleep is there many easter eggs like in Crimson Butterfly. Here is some of them, thanks to yume no horousha.
This is a doll, which is MOVING during the game. You can find the doll in Chapter 5 as Kei, before getting the Camera Obscura. Pictures:

And as many already know, you can go into Himuro Mansion and also The Lost Village. As for the Lost Village, there is also a creepy easter egg which reminds me of Wanderer, the first ghost you fight in Crimson Butterfly.
Pictures:

This is Wanderer from Crimson Butterfly:

I think they looks like each other, but they are surely not!

As for Himuro Mansion, we all know that Miku was there in the first FF game, and yes she is there again...
And a little easter egg is there too!

Two words: Poor Miku!
I can't see who it could be, but the face reminds me of Kirie(not the dead one). But I'm sure it's the next Shrine Maiden.

Remember not to COPY this without asking me or yume no horousha! Instead you can show the site with the link.

Rankings everywhere

There have being a lot of Fatal Frame 3 rankings since the game hit the gamestores in US.

I found one, there had ranking The Tormented very much, with the most great things like sounds, gameplay, story and so on with about 4/5 stars. But the weird thing is that they writes about like it was a game with no story. Yeah, sounds weird, but it is true. Yahoo Games gave the title: " The super creepy Fatal Frame series gives players the chance to 'shoot' troubled spirits with the Camera Obscura once again."

But then when you read it:

"Following in the "shudder"-bug footsteps of the series, The Tormented introduces a new player-character photographer named Rei Kurosawa (talk about your unnecessary social pressure!). By the Fatal Frame standard, she's an unusual beauty, tall and slinky -- but she's in unusual misery, hagridden by guilt over the death of her beloved fiance Yuu, dead in a recent car crash (with Rei behind the wheel at the time). "

It sounds like the game is boring.

Anyway, there haven't being posted new wallpapers on the japanese FF3 site, so I really think they don't make more. But I hope they do!^_^

Prologue

Beyond the Camera's Lens got the Prologue of Fatal Frame the Tormented!

"Why did I survive?"
This thought has haunted Rei ever since that day... The day she lost her fiance in a car accident - while she was at the wheel. One day, freelance photographer Rei Kurosawa receives an assignment to shoot pictures at an old Japanese manor. Rumor has it that the manor, situated deep in the mountains and miles from anywhere, is haunted.During her work that day, Rei sees something unexplainable: her fiance. Yuu Asou. As far as she knows, he is dead. Setting off in pursuit of her dead lover, Rei finds herself wandering deeper and deeper into the ruins of the abandoned mansion. At the end of a crumbling passageway she turns a corner, and suddenly the scene around her changes. Snow is falling heavily, and reaching out ahead of her are rows and rows of countless gravestones. The scene bears no resemblance to the abandoned house where she has been taking pictures.
"Where am I? What is this place...?"
Afraid and confused, Rei begins her search for Yuu...

This is from the Fatal Frame III Guide

US! Say hello to House Of Sleep!

"Welcome to the Tormented House, US!"
Fatal Frame III: The Tormented will be releast tomorrow, so I had a idea for fans (who goes to see DS) for having a little fun, before they get the NEW game in the Fatal Frame series!!!

(The most of the following information is NOT true!)

Rei Kurosawa lost her fiance to a car accident. After a few days she is ready to find a other lover, Kei Amakura! The great thing is that Kei was best friends with Yu Aso (the fiance), so Rei had a great chance to get him.
After a few days after talking to Kei, Rei takes on her work again... To her bad luck it was a mansion.

"A MANSION?!" was Miku Hinasaki's first words when her boss told her to help her.
As they entered the mansion, Miku started to be scared, but Rei took care of her.

" I'd hear this house was haunted... to bad it's not..." Rei said and started to take pictures.

"Rumors... are just rumors... I'm gonna load these up!" Miku ran off.

*Later*

Rei found out that this house WAS haunted. Her dead fiance was standing right in front of her, and Rei didn't believed her own eyes.

"Yuu? What in the House of Sleep are you doing here?!"

"Wrong line again, Rei-san! Over again, 3.2.1..." Keisuke Kikuchi was pretty tired of making this sceen over and over.

Sadly, Rei started to get nightmares of the mansion. And found out that a blue snake tattoo was growing on her arm. She didn't want to tell Kei or Miku. She though she was going crazy about the dreams and the tattoo. Miku told Rei that she had dreams about her lost brother, Rei started to wonder about this. Then Kei came and said that something was wrong with he's dreams too.

None of them knew what to do. Rei said that they should try to understand the dreams, but so easy can't it never be...They three friends found of that ghosts was in their dreams too. And they all had the same tattoo as Rei, Kei and Miku got. And small things came in the way for them.

Rei: Get your nasty hands of my pretty face!

Miku: You gonna be kidding me! Two and two... four. Seven and seven... Rei-san!!! What is seven + seven?!

Kei: *whispers* I got you, your weird topless ghosts! Mawhaha...

Topless: *whispers* Mwahaha... now we can make him do the ritual! *starts to cry* Men only likes me because I'm topless!!

Other woman ghost: Isn't that the point of buying the game?O.o

And now to the more... important:

Go and buy that game! But don't forget to make your normal homework ;D

We love the games, Keisuke Kikuchi and Makoto Shibata! You two made the best horror game ever. The gameplay looks great, the characters as well, everything!

I know all the fans last wish for this... Make one more!^_^
