More Fatal Frame Movie rumors.

Lots of Fatal Frame Movie/Courtney Webb Rumors!

There has not been any official confirmation about Courtney Webb playing the role as Miku for the upcoming Fatal Frame Movie yet, so all this is only rumors.

First off, in regards to the SciFi UK news report that allegedly mentioned Courtney in the Fatal Frame Movie, Courtney Webb Fans United posted the brief transcript of what was said.

"And lastly, British actress Courtney Webb has been tipped to play Miku in the super-scary Fatal Frame movie. Scheduled to start filming, with an estimated, $20.000.000 budget. The movie is said to be still set in Japan, with a mixed of Japanese and American actors, to appeal to wider audiences."

Courtney Webb - News on the Star mentions about an article supposedly from Boom Magazine about the actress. Article scan is here. Emi thinks it's fake, and I can only agree with her.

Susan, the webmistress of CW News also added this:

"This doesn't look like a legitimate article so take anything it says with a pinch of salt. I'm trying to add a poll to see who doesn't mind her as Miku but i think a fatal frame site should do that."

Yes, let's say that it is fake....

The text looks pixelated, the image used faded & blurry, and there are some serious grammaticle errors( Emi-san saw it all). The article itself is not at all close to the layout quality of examples the Boom Magazine website. (Not to mention, why would rich people be interested in a little known teen star?)

Btw, as per Susan's suggestion, there is a poll for this newstopic. In regards to Fatal Frame, the article says this:

"Not only does Courtney have a movie being released. But she's in negotiations to (p)lay Miku in the ultra scary Fatal Frame series. Courtney won't comment on the rumours, but she will tell us that she's going to Tokyo this year to film another Japanese movie. I play a Japanese/English girl in the future. "That's all I can say"

Lastly, Ablazingly Courtney Webb reported that Courtney Webb Fans United is reporting that Courtney is going to Japan for 3 weeks as part of a Horror Movie Conference and to film a movie. According to the latter, they're unsure whether it's for the Fatal Frame Movie or for Saihoirn another movie she's going to be in. She'll also be attending the "Black Kiss" screening in Tokyo as well. Besides filming, CWFU is also reporting that she'll be doing promotional interviews for the new movie (whatever it may be). I have only seen her in one movie, so I can't say much about her. Right now, we can just hope for the best.

Thanks to Beyond the Camera's Lens for the amazing news!

Fatal Frame makes top 100!
Kei-san from BCL's forum posted that Official Playstation Magazine got Fatal Frame on a top 100 list!
Fatal Frame
simply terrifying
PUB:Tecmo
DEV:Tecmo
OPM score:4
"Resident evil has the zombie angle, Silent Hill has the creepy,Jacob's Ladder-esque angle. What does that leave for the survival horror genre but the haunted-house angle? That's just what Fatal Frame went for,and its excellent tactic of fighting ghosts with only a camera makes for one of the most terrifying games ever made.Like Silent Hill, it doesn't stray far away from the survival-horror formula, but through virtuoso manipulation of the diffrent tupes of fear, the game delivers an astonishingly intense, viscerally frightening experience."

Thanks to BCL and Kei-san!
