Fatal Frame movie news, Fatal Frame 4 rumors!

Image of Courtney Webb from Ablazingly Courtney Webb

Ablazingly Courtney Webb, Regardez (her agency) has confirmed, that Courtney Webb is looking into the role of Miku. BUT! The agency also reported to Ablazingly Courtney Webb that casting for the movie hasn't started, so Courtney Webb is still a 'might be', but as of yet not the 'official' actress for this role.

Fatal Frame 4 rumors!

This new is back from January, but it's still good to know.

Lik-sang.com came with a article for the PS3 system. It included a list of games that the website claims as 'confirmed' to be in development. But Lik-sang.com doesn't make any mention where this comes from. The thing that makes this article most interesting is that Fatal Frame 4 is listed there. Another thing is that a 'Fatal Frame' also are listed. Maybe they will re-made Fatal Frame 1 for the PS3?

But remember, that there haven't been any of this from Tecmo, so this is still only rumors and not official words yet.

1up.com reporting FF4 too.

1up.com did also have something about FF4 is currently in development.

Producer Keisuke Kikuchi has said in an interview that a Fatal Frame title for next-gen consoles is already in planning stages. Survival Horror fans will be delighted at the notion of snapping photos of ghosts in glorious high-definition.

I'd rather wait to see what Tecmo says about this, before we can say anything if this is official or not. Emi from BCL says that the 1up.com staff are pretty close with Kikuchi-san & Project Zero. Again, she says that she won't call it official, before Tecmo says something.

Aghalidefairie from LJ has posted this article, which tells not only about the new PS3, but they has also a list over which games there is confirmed for the PS3!

Yes, people, Fatal Frame and Fatal Frame 4 stands there!! Read it! ^_^

http://www.lik-sang.com/news.php?artc=3777

Why Fatal Frame stands there? They might re-releasing the game for PS3, I'm not sure though. All this is still rumours, but the article does show which games there is confirmed.

I hope this is true! I really hope they are telling the truth!

Fatal Frame refrences and a interesting article

Fatal Frame refrences!

24-1/2: As one can hardly avoid noticing. Elgala's viewpoint here is a reference to Tecmo's RPG horror game for the Xbox, Fatal Frame, in which a girl investigates her brother's disappearance by exploring a haunted mansion with a magical camera that has the power to capture the gruesome events that once occurred there.

Not really 'her brother'. They thinks it's FF1, but it is FF2, if anyone should get confused about this.

Otaku_sweetie from LJ found this, and Emi-san from BCL got the scans. Thanks to both of them!

Also, in a movie called 'Stay Alive' is there a man, who is saying: "It's a new game called 'Stay Alive'. Seriously man it's the sickest sh*t since Fatal Frame. It's creepy."

And as many already knows... For movies there is refrences to Fatal Frame;

Woman in Box (And well) - Sadako/Samara (Ringu, The Ring)
Rei & Ghost scene in attic - Juon (The Grudge)
Growing stain on Rei's wall - Dark Water
'Ghosts' hovering around Yoshino - The Eye

Many thanks for Emi-san to tell us this!

A interesting article - Playboy gives 4 outta 5 bunnies

You heard me... Playboy has also review Fatal Frame 3: The Tormented! Shrine-Maiden from BCL's forum was nice to let me use this. Syn13 from BCL came with a little funny comment for the article "Playboy rates Fatal Frame III with sexy results". Could be true, if they though about it.

Many thanks to Shrine-Maiden for letting me use it!

New logo and links

Double Shot got a new logo, which is simple and fine. :)

I'm in Fatal Frame 3 mode, and I just needed to change it.

Anyway, I got this email from a Fatal Frame fan yesterday, and gave me a link to the owners site.

Silent Scream is a cool Fatal Frame site, which I'm gonna link back, as soon as I have a button.

The site has good informations about the games as well. And it's not only for characters from the games, but also good informations about the rituals.

Fatal Frame 4 news?
There hasn't been anything yet. When the Playstation 3 comes out, let's hope that we hear something from Tecmo.

Fatal Frame movie?
There hasn't been anything either. Besides that Courtney Webb is still rumored to be Miku Hinasaki.

Fatal Frame 3 to xbox?
Get's alots of emails about this... No, there hasn't been any rumors about if FF3 will come to xbox. I hope myself, that it will.
