Much news!

Kikuchi-san mentions Fatal Frame in Tokobot interview!

Poor Kikuchi-san, it seems even though he does make other games, he can't help but getting Fatal Frame and Gallop Racer questions.
His recent interview with GameInformer about Tokobot (his new PSP game) is no acception. (But hey, we're not complaining, the more fatal frame news! The better!).
Here's highlights of the interview that mention FF:

Game Informer: This game is very different than the games you normally work on. How did you come up with the design?

Keisuke Kikuchi: This game is for all ages. The game itself is taking advantage of the features of the system. The game system itself was created for Fatal Frame and Trapt.

GI: It’s funny, I was thinking about it and you work on horror-type games like Fatal Frame, and this is a very cute platformer. Where did you come up with the idea for Tokobot?

Kikuchi: The main concept of this game comes from Shibata-san, the director of Fatal Frame III who also works on Gallop Racer. With Gallop Racer, you could recognize very cute characters. The PSP is a very different market so when it came out, we came up with this concept. The PSP can handle the many characters that are on screen at the same time. I though it would be very interesting to control so many characters at once.

GI: Who created the music for Tokobot?Kikuchi: Okuda-san. He also did the sound design for Fatal Frame.GI: What about making a Fatal Frame game using the Revolution controller?

Kikuchi: My team members said the same thing. (laughs)

The last interesting bit of the article was that when Kikuchi-san was asked if he was working on Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 projects right now, he said, "I'm not working on a specific project right now".Whether or not this contradicts IGN's Fatal Frame PS3 or Gamespy's Fatal Frame PS3 announcement is uncertain. (Remember Kikuchi-san likes to be sneaky with his answers at times. :) )Read the full GameInformer Tokobot interview here!

FF3 high scores at last!
According to Akatsuki666 over at gamefaqs.com the most recent issue of OPM (Official Playstation Magazine) gave Fatal Frame 3 a 4.5 out of 5! This, without a doubt, is the best score the game has received yet!

GameInformer Preview
As we mentioned before, the previous issue of GameInformer (superman was on the cover) had a preview article of fatal frame, Roselite was very kind and sent in a scan! So, read up on the ff goodness! If you notice, the magazine said the release date was November 1st, this is because the magazine went to print before the 'official' release date of November 8th was announced.

More Movie news!
This comes from Ablazingly Courtney Webb which got it from eFGForum.com.
At the moment Courtney has no projects in the pipeline she's wants a break to just "be a teenager!" and she currently trying to lose two stone before Christmas. Rumour has it that Courtney has to lose the weight to play Miku in the up-coming Dreamworks Production of Fatal Frame due out late next year. Currently weighing in at ten stone, Courtney is slightly voluptuous and the weight lost can only help achieve her future dreams.Again, this is still considered to be a rumor.

Many thanks to Beyond the Camera's Lens for all the news!
